PE Pipe Clamps

The clamps are used to stop the flow of the transported medium in PE pipes with diameters ranging from 25 mm to 180 mm, of any SDR series. Manual clamps can be used for pipes with diameters up to 110 mm, while hydraulic clamps are used for larger diameters.

When using the clamp, the following precautions must be observed:

  • The clamp should not be used at a distance less than three pipe diameters from the point where the pipe was welded or where the clamp was previously used.

  • After removing the clamp, carefully inspect the pipe for any damage or cracks, and correct any ovality in the pipe.

  • The area on the pipe where the clamp was used should be permanently marked.
